Panchiao

As my story “Taiwan in the new year” is mostly taking place in Panchiao, a suburb of Taipei City at the moment, I decided to make a short video to show what Panchiao looks like. I think this video conveys well the crowded, closed in, busy city feeling that Panchiao has.

John-

The first thing that caught my eye with your post is that I thought the name of the town should be "Banchiao" but I know that Taiwan continues to use the Wade-Giles pinyin system.

anyhow- I enjoyed the clip-- I love to see all of the motorcycles again! Thanks.

John-

I just noticed the post that you put up a while back, putting a link up to my site on the RSS. Thank you very much. I am trying to get my site better situated for Chinese learners of all levels and I have begun posting one Chinese Idiom a day and just yesterday I started posting a "measure word" a day. You are welcome to check them out any time.

Would you mind if I put a permanent link up to your site?

You are welcome to add a link to site d.a.

When I said I added you to my RSS reader I meant this http://www.rssowl.org
On the weekend I might get around to adding the various blogs I read to this site. They are mostly people who are learning the language like myself.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video clip. Panchiao has a kind of excitement to it that I miss as well.
