Local Chinese Newspapers

I have been looking to see what local (Perth, Australia) Chinese newspapers are on offer. And I am now aware of four that can be picked up free from most Chinese grocers and supermarkets.

I have mentioned the ORIENTAL POST before.
There is also the AUSTRALIAN MIGRATION TIMES, the AUSTRALIAN CHINESE TIMES and the ASIAN TIMES.

Taroko part 1

This is part one of 3 video’s I made of a trip to the Taroko National park in the mountains near Hualien in Taiwan. This video shows the bus trip into the mountains to the Taroko visitors centre.

Lesson 30 added to Flashcards

I've added another lesson to the flashcards called "Going to the Park". It's mostly covering things like,

"Where are my sunglasses? They are under the Bed."
"Where is the sunscreen? It's in the drawer."

and stuff like that.

Wong Faye music

Here are a couple of Wong Faye songs. The first one called “Bu Liu” is the best. The second one called “Fantastic” is not bad though.

Reading Signs # 5

This picture is of another optometrist called the “Graduate Doctor Eyeglasses Company”. The first two characters are 博士 bo2 shi4 “Graduate Doctor”, the middle two characters are again 眼鏡 yan3 jing4 or “eyeglasses” and the last two are 公司 gong1 si1 or “Company”.
