Taiwan schedule is set

My planned trip to Taiwan is now booked and it's ended up both sooner and shorter than I expected. I will now be in Taiwan for the last half of May.

This doesn't leave me with a lot of time to brush up on my Mandarin. I'm going to have to try and find ways of optimising my time and just learn the stuff I'm most likely to need.

Hi

I'm researching going to Taiwan to learn Mandarin. Ideally I would like to be based near a beach somewhere in Kenting say. Do you know if there are any schools there? Or do I have to go to a University?

Best

There are plenty of Mandarin schools in Taiwan; most I think would be associated with universities. I'm not sure about Kenting though, it's more of a holiday area than anything else
