First Chinese character Flash cards

I've added the next couple of lessons to the latest flashcard file. The first of these lesson number 25 is the first set of Chinese characters that I've included in the flash cards. It's actually the same words and phrases as lesson one, which is how I'm going to learn characters.

I've made the front side of each card the word or phrase in Chinese characters and the flip side is in pinyin with "(CH)" at the end, so that I know that this is a character card. The way I learn these is that I have jMemorize sized so that it covers the top 3/4 of the screen and I have WordPad opened in the bottom 1/4 of the screen. Then when a card pops up and I need to say what the character is I type it into WordPad, then check it against the answer.

Lesson 26 is a normal lesson all about exercise.

You have some incorrect Chinese on some of these cards.

zhe4 shi4 wo3 de mao1, ta1 shi4 hen3 ke3 ai4.

There's no shi4. It's a noun connecting with an adjective. There is no "to be" verb like in English.
(这是我的猫,它很可爱)

zhe4 shi4 wo3 jia1.
This means this is my home. jia1 ren2 means family. So zhe4 zhi4 wo3 jia1 ren2 (这是我家人)

Also, you have bu4/2 (不) written as second tone sometimes. Yes, bu2 is second one only when the next character is fourth tone; otherwise bu4 is fourth tone.

I fixed the jia1 ren2 and the bu4's, though I think you can say either ta1 shi4 hen3 ke3 ai4 or ta1 hen3 ke3 ai4 so I left that as it was.

I've asked about this and it seems at least in Taiwan people will include the shi4. I'm guessing you are talking from a China perspective?
